The new edition of ROMESSAGE contains a report about automotive workshops that give money away. Balance sheet of the KÜS expert organisation: During 2.6 million general inspections, the inspector criticized the condition of the brake system approximately 300,000 times. Similar, frightening figures can be encountered in the reports of other testing organizations, such as the reliability report compiled by the GTÜ (Gesellschaft für technische Überwachung = Technical Inspection Association). Workshops that fail to inform their customers on a regular basis about the need to perform brake servicing not only incur the risk of liability in the event the driver has an accident on account of brake failure.
