For adjusting the adaptive cruise control of a commercial vehicle, the vehicle must be aligned perpendicular to the projection target. With longer vehicles, special tools are necessary.

The ART-adjusting device 09805 allows perpendicular alignment and points a laser beam from the rear axle directly at the target.

The ART-adjusting device 09805 consists of a magnetic tripod holder, which is fixed on the wheel hub of the vehicle's rear axle with the laser module attached to it.

The vehicle must be aligned and set according to manufacturers instructions, which includes checking and adjusting tire pressure as well as adjusting the driving level. The wheel hub must first be cleaned to get an even and firm hold of the tripod holder. The tripod holder is first set in place on the hub with the magnetic feet, the laser module is then attached to it an locked in place with the screw.

Working together with the Distronic adjusting device 09803 the laser beam is projected to the target.
